    Hi,

I'm looking at purchasing a galaxy tab 8.9 and was wondering if it has USB OTG support?

Mainly for hooking up a usb fdd (since it doesnt seem to come with a microsd port).

    Thanks,

    jdbc.

Yes it does. Go to Amazon and search for "galaxy tab usb card reader P7300" and you'll get all kinds of card readers.

Tab 8.9 is non-voice. Samsung is launching (August 2012) 10 inch Tablet with Voice, which support On-The-Go too (OTG). Since 8.9 inch tablet is out of stock everywhere, heard samsung stopped it supplies and we can get it from any stockist.

I just got 8.9 last week at AT&T store. They are still available online from Amazon & other stores.

It does NOT have USB or cardports. You have to buy an adapter. I just ordered one last night from Amazon. Also got cover for $4.25 on eBay!

So far I love it & will be canceling my landline DSL as soon as I get everything switched over.
