Help gallery questions??

how do I move pictures around on my desire to different file folders other than the gallery? I don't want some shown. is there an app or something?

If you want some sd card folders with images to NOT be shown in the gallery, browse to the folder with a file manager, such as Astro or Estrongs and create a file or folder in there called ".nomedia"

I only wanted certain images hidden. When I try to open the gallery app it says there are no pictures at all. I haven't moved any pictures yet. And all my videos are gone as well.

To get it back open Vaulty - input your Password - shows all your hidden pics/videos with the option to Unhide again

Well you can see what you've done then. The gallery will pick up folders all over the SD. Separate out what you want hidden and put them in a new folder with the .nomedia. removing the .nomedia will show everything again.

for this i just create a folder like .ducky, i dont use nomedia, and this hides the images from the gallery, but is easy to find using a file explorer, i use ES file explorer.

I use QuickPic as my gallery. You can create folders, move/copy images to different folders and hide folders too. Much better than the stock gallery imo.
