Gameboid save files and visualboyadvance save files

So I recently paid for gameboid which rocks by the way holy crap.

However i had a save file on the visualboyadvance (the best GBA PC emulator) for a few of my games but after transferring all the files including save files into the emulator I lost my saved game?

Any ideas on how I can get my save files from the PC emulator to this one is possible??? OR if gameboid creates different save files?
