    I use one called "Where"

    Has more than just gas prices....

    Thanks. I will try it again. I downloaded it the day I got my Droid and found it spent a long time getting my GPS location. I gave up. Assume it has been fixed and will try Where again.

    Yeah give it some time, once it finds your location it will ask (if you are still in City, State) every other time you load it instead of constantly rechecking

    Maybe it was trying to get an exact lock. You can just use assisted GPS. Should be accurate within 1500m of your location. It is much faster that way.

    That app sure does want a lot of freedom to take over my phone. I hope those guys are trustworthy !!
