General Question About The Droid Phone Apps

I'm the account holder on my wife's phone (family plan) and I am not aware of any way to view the downloaded apps she's made, without actually picking up her phone and looking.

The app downloads are a Google thing, while your account is a Verizon thing.
Don't think they share that info or there is any visibility on your purchases or downloads.

FYI, there is always sideloading. You can install an APK (app) directly without getting it from the market.

So obviously you are doing something that you don't want someone else to see.

Yes, as Stephen mentioned, browsers like Dolphin can removed cached information and browsing history when you exit (it prompts you).

However, I will say that even with exiting from Dolphin HD and clearing cache, it does remember certain things. So even if they are removed from history, there is still a record somewhere. How do I know this? For example, I can go to Craigslist, select a city and start browsing. Close out and remove history and cache. Next time I start and type craigslist in, it goes right back to the city that I left off from. So obviously it is storing some information that doesn't get wiped.

As to whether the casual user can view this, or if it takes more sophisticated tech means, I don't know. Never really looked into it.

I wonder what the headlines are going to read tomorrow, "Man blows himself up in a meth lab after reading a how to on his android phone," "Man arrested for viewing child porn on his phone," "Boy kills parents after studying the Menendez brothers on his cell phone." Guess we'll have to wait until tomorrow to find out.
