General questions about Android Market

Hi guys,
I have general questions about the Android Market. I've been researching quite a lot about the App Store, and I'm now curious about Android.

1. How does exactly refunding works ? If a client is unsatisfied within the first 24hours of use, is it the developer that will have to refund him ? And what about the 30% already taken by Google ?

2. I don't own an Android-based mobile yet, so what are the categories on Android Market's homepage ? (like Apple's "Top free, Top Paid, Noteworhty, What's hot" etc.). Do we know how these categories exactly work, and how to control them to promote applications ? Or, like Apple, is it totally an opaque process, with lot of subjectivity from Google's own promotions ?

3. Is it possible to pay Google in order to be more visible on the Market, as is it possible with web pages referencing on their search engine ? Or a similar promotion feature maybe... ?

I'll ask more if I have other questions !
Thanks a lot for your answers :)

Bye, and forgive me for my english mistakes :p

1. Never bought an app yet so I can't say for sure, but I've been told you get a free refund within 24 hours, but if you reinstall you can't get another refund. I think if google gets a cut, 30% of 0 is 0.

2. The Markets first page is divided into Applications, Games, Search, and My Downloads.
They are then broken down further,
Apllications: All applications, Comics, Communication, Entertainment, Finance, Health, Lifestyle, Multimedia, News & Weather, Productivity, Reference, Shopping, Social, Sports, Themes, Tools, Travel, Demo, and Software libraries.
Games: All games, Arcade & Action, Brain & Puzzle, Cards& Casino, Casual

Once you go into any of these categories you can sort them by popularity or by date. As far as I know there is no way to separate paid from free apps, but they are clearly marked as FREE or $.

3. I have no idea, I'm not a developer.

Edit: I forgot to welcome you to AF!!!
