This so frustrating. I am trying to root my droid that is currently running the 2.1 firmware. I have researched and it seems that the only way to do so is go back to the 2.0.1 firm. So, I download RSD 4.6, the 32-bit 4.2 usb driver zip, the vzw sbf file, and the apk file. Proceed with everything as instructed and the start button on the RSD Lite stays greyed out. I believe because I do not have the "SE Flash OMAP3430 MI" driver on my PC.
Does anyone know how I can get past this? Does this "SE Flash OMAP3430 MI" exist somewhere that I can retrieve it? Is there an easier weay to root or change my 2.1 to froyo 2.2?
    HELP, HELP , HELP...
