OK new owner of an LG Ally. I want to get my photos and videos off my old sd card copied to my new, much larger sd card. I wont read in my pc unless I format it and I don't want to do that.

It's no doubt easy but it's making me crazy. System is a whole lot different than Im used to.

    Please help:eek:

Open the sd card slot, take your current one out put the old one in, go to gallery and copy over the pictures or upload them to picasa online album and than put your new one back in and copy them over.

    Or... (without syncing phone)

Just use card reader and :

    1) Open and pull the pics to desktop, then format card.
    2) Insert card and let Android ready it with file system.
    3) Put card back in reader and transfer to DCIM/Camera file
    4) Put card back in Ally.

    (With syncing phone)

    1) Open and pull the pics to desktop, then format card.
    2) Put card in ally and sync. (once connected by usb, mount it by pulling doen shade and clicking usb connection)
    3) Put files in DCIM/ Camera folder

Or just power on the old phone (if you still have it) and use bluetooth to transfer them over. That's what I did.
