Getting replacement evo today how to save slinbox app?

    Getting my evo in a few hours. I want to make sure I dont lose anything

    do I have to be rooted for that?

    yes... just use unrevoked. then download titanium back... once your app is backed up. turn off the phone. turn it back on with the volume down button and power button @ the same time. do a hard reset and your root will be wiped like it was never there. good luck

    Thanks, but might be above my android pay grade... Is that the only way for me to keep my slingbox app?

    nope... it's not hard to be honest. unrevoke is just installing a file. the install another file call titanium backup.

    oh well

    when i changed from a hero to my moment and then to my evo, i had only one app but that app automatically followed me to all the phones, but it was the only one i purchased, i would think that would hold true with all purchased apps from android market

    just make sure that you log into your google screen with the same info that bought the app, and you should be ok.

    I recovered my app last night no problems.

    all purchased app will move from phone to phone using the gmail account....

    if you want to back up your non purchased apps just install appbrain and then make a new list and move those app on your phone to that list. then get your new phone and pull all those apps from that list you set up.

    app brain is jsut an app and you dont have to be rooted
