Gingerbread Keyboard, NO root required

A lot of the difference isn't really noticeable unless you're aware of it. It has more accurate targeting for example (as in it's gonna give you the letter you hit even if you're not dead-on center of the key) and a better auto-correct. The main difference for me, though, is that you can use the numbers from the main keyboard by long-pressing the upper row of letters.

just installed this on the Desire and all seems to be working fine :) just had to find these instructions below from the link above :)

"For those wondering how to get this keyboard working once you've installed it, Go into Settings Language & keyboard. Select the check box next to Gingerbread keyboard. Then, long press in any text area and select Input method. You can quickly switch between keyboards - I have Swype, the stock Evo keyboard ("Touch Input"), the HTC IME keyboard, and the Gingerbread keyboard all available."
