Gio - Find My Mobile - Samsung account

Below is a somewhat confusing and conflicting responses I got from Samsung support. Basically, I just want to use the Samsung Find My Mobile feature, but I cannot due to when I go to 'Settings' > 'Accounts and Sync' > 'Add Account' there is no "Samsung account" listed to setup.

The feature is found at;

Has anyone got this to work on their Gio?

Unfortunately the 'Samsung Account' is not available for all devices. If the 'Samsung Account' option is not found on your device under 'Settings' > 'Accounts and Sync' > 'Add Account' you cannot use this function.

when i go through the menus to 'add an account' as shown in the attached picture, there is no 'Samsung account'. I do have the Google account showing and signed it.

how can i get the Samsung account to appear so I can set it up?

Attached is the screen shot, that shows there is no 'Samsung account' option for me to select and set up. How to I get that to appear as an account I can set up?

We are sorry to tell you that some device version don't have "Add Samsung Account" option, but if you sign in other Samsung apps, samsung aco**** will appears in your "Accounts and sync " menu automatically.

I went to the Samsung Apps icon signed in, but when I go back to the Settings > Accounts and sync > Add account menu, there is still no "Samsung account" option. The screen looks the same as it was in my last attachment. Without doing this it seems like I cannot use the Samsung "Find My Mobile" features.
