    Here is what I need!

I am the proud new owner of a Samsung Moment by Google. I absolutely LOVE this phone. I am a convert from the Blackberry world. This phone is faster, cooler, and does much more than my blackberry ever could have dreamed in a more efficient manner. So my kudos go out to the developers of not only the phone itself, but to everyone else, Android is the best thing since sliced bread, and all of the apps are amazingly brilliant. I (many years ago) owned a Samsung flip phone and I loved it, then texting came around and it became a very large part of my life and Blackberry had a Qwerty so I have stuck with them for the last 5-6 years. While I love Blackberry, I now have a career that requires FAST action and while Blackberry is more dependable than gravity, they are also slower than snails. While I am a girl, which does not coincide with the word geek, I am proud to be a geek! But I do have my geeky limitations, I am a self described

I haven't seen an LED light working on the Moment. But, maybe some of the rooted versions offer this feature.

I would like Select All and Mark as Read in Gmail, too. I've also been waiting for this to be implemented. In the meantime, I'll make do with the improved version of Gmail in 2.1.

I will say that today I did find that once you checkmark each message there is a "mark as read" option, but I would prefer not to have to do that with hundreds of messages a day.

    Thank you for the input!

Great Website by the way, I visited "womenwithdroids" and found some great info! I love that there are other geekettes out there with me!

Agreed! They need the ability to select a page of messages and mark as read immediately.

The only other solution I can think of is to set up filters in Gmail that mark all incoming mail as read, which would stop the notifications from showing up.
