    I think I can figure this out but I want to make sure. We are going to take my wifes moment back to have them swap it for a new one because of some frustrating issues with it. Before I take it back I wanted to set it all back to how it came so they don't try and say no because its rooted. FWIW the problem with the phone has been around since day 1 and the guy at Sprint is already aware. I rooted it hoping it might fix the problem but it has not. I say this because I don't want anyone to think I bricked it or something and am trying to pull a fast one.

    Rooting a phone is mainly software-related. So just download the utility from sprint.com/downloads and it will re-write the kernel to the official Sprint kernel. So, therefore they wont be able to tell if you rooted it or not.
