go keyboard emoji plugin problem

It seem only the text emotes show up in the text message. The icon ones ( Smiley face etc....) do not show up in the text msgs. Any one Seen this?

Are you using an app that supports emoji? the emoji plugin on the keyboard only allows you to send emoji, not see them.

I am using Go keyboard and then installed the Emoji plugin. I can access the Emoji Plugin from within Go Keyboard.

At the bottom of the plugin you can choose between the standard text emotes or the color (Icons) and send them in text messages..

The problem is that when I try and add a color emoticon (Like a smiley face or a frown), it shows up as a blank but it is actually there because the cursor moves to the right each time I click on one.

When I send a text with these in it the receipient gets nothing and it shows a blank text was sent from my phone.

The only app I am trying to use the Emoji plugin with the go keyboard in text messages. I have the stock sms app on the SGS3.

The text ones (I.E and :-( ) work fine.

I used this on my HTC Incredible 2 and never had this issue.

Any ideas?

The stock sms app on the Galaxy S3 does not support emoji. You need to use a messaging app that supports emoji, like Go SMS Pro which has an emoji plugin.
