So I just got a hero on a contract renewal last month and now im thinking of getting a EVO.

So I have a Hero to sell, What will it sell for?
And can I use my $100 rewards credit from sprint?

Whats the best way to go about it?

Well if your within 30 days take it back and just use an old phone until the EVO drops and you still get your upgrade price!

Otherwise I would start at 200!

    Then you are screwed

You'll have to buy the EVO at full price then sell the Hero to offset the cost.

I just don't understand why people were out buying Hero's a month ago with all the talk about the EVO/Supersonic at the time?

Sell it on eBay, depending on the condition of the phone you can probably bring in $200-$250 probably. As far as the Sprint Rewards goes, I am not sure about that. I'm not familiar with that.

Because not everyone follows this stuff, they simply walk into the store and look at the phones.
I walked into best buy and saw the hero was $99 and my contract was up in a couple months so I extended right there on the spot.

Yes and i would honestly tell them you plan on buying an EVO FROM THEM. Offer to pre-order one. That way its not a fully lost sale for them.

Well next time you will be better prepared.

So get on the phone and start kissing some CSR's ass. In my experience with Sprint, you will be taken care of. Be patient and call back a few times if someone tells you no.
