Looking for a good volume control app WITH WIDGET(S).

    Anybody know of one?

I tried "Volume Control" by "roys" but no widgets. Worked fine, but having to launch the app was dumb. Might as well just use the stock volume controls.

I like AudioManager, but the widget does launch the app... The widget does show the current volume settings however.

After reading the title I was going to ask "why not just use the stock volume controls". Since it can be used whether the Droid's screen is on or off, why are you looking for a widget? Just curious...

I want to be able to adjust the media, notification, and ringer volumes easily and independently.

Have you tried Volume Widget by Leep Studios?

    Yes. Enormous resource hog. Uninstalled.

Also tried master volume control from sanels. didn't like that it wasn't loaded on boot. uninstalled.

I'm looking for this as well. Really I just need media volume and ringer volume controls. Oh heck, I guess notification volume would be nice too. I'm on Jrummys newest froyo ROM if that matters.

    Thanks in advance

I've tried pretty much all of them and the only one I've been able to live with is Volume Control from revosolutionary. It's not perfect, but it works and it's easy to use. I keep the icon on my LauncherPro quick launch bar.

Have you tried audiomanager by smart android apps llc??? Seems to do a good job of what your describing and has 2 different size widgets to choose from.

Good find. Close, but still not what I want. having to launch the app thru widget gets me essentially what Volume Manager has except without the profiles. Combine the two and it's gold.

I agree! I do like, however that the volumes have a number range and that when you change it doesn't pop up on the screen. I would like to know which one is "media" volume though. I'm guessing it's music? Or maybe system?

I like Volume Widget Pro by SpartanCoders. A small (2x1) widget that will let you cycle through the types of sound, then + and - buttons to adjust. Lots of color options too.

Be careful with these. I had one and it REALLY screwed my volume settings up to the point where I almost had to do a factory reset because my messages wold only vibrate even when notification sound waas on.
