Is there a way to get my tasks from Google Calendar on my computer to my calendar app on the dinc?
Sync the email account associated with the calendar. Make sure you have calendar sync checked in settings and it does it automatically. I sync GCalendar, three gmail accounts and a yahoo. IMO there is nothing like Google calendar syncing. It's better than MS Office for me.
Thanks Steven. My calendar events sync fine but I don't get my tasks of if the tasks sync I can't find them.
looks like this post is quite old, so hopefully you got your answer somewhere else before now, but for anyone that stumbles onto this thread, I don't believe that the google tasks (usually accessed from your browser when in your google calendar or gmail) sync with the calendar info. You would need a separate app to do that. gTask, I think, is one such app that lets you create/sync your google tasks.
One thing I'd suggest though, if you're not already entrenched in using google tasks, is to try another task app, since you'll have to download one anyway. I haven't used gTask myself, but the google task web app seems a little too simplistic for my tastes. Unless the gTask app brings a little more functionality to the google tasks (priority, tags, reminders...)
There's a few that I'm trying out now, but I'll refrain from any suggestions as I'm not sure that I'm really happy with any of them.
was just looking for this very thing. I can't see how gTask adds the item to your calendar on the dInc though - which seems strange since tasks are added to your calendar on google. Are there any apps out there that add your tasks directly to your calendar on your dInc? or am I missing a setting on gTask?
