Google does iPhone Apps?!

Google lets you search Androi... er, make that iPhone apps from your iPhone -- Engadget Mobile

I was reading this and decided to se my browser to iphone mode and oddly enough i did get this little menu kinda amusing in an odd sort of way

Mobile websites at one time would only recognize iPhone browsers, and having the iPhone mode helped you get access to phone designed versions of websites.

It doesn't really have a purpose anymore as just about everybody designs for mobile browsers in general, and not just for the iPhone.
