Why is it so difficult to use maps in the browser?

If you go to Google Maps and click "My Maps" you can create lists and save various locations as placemarks. I would like to be able to load this list in my phone but using maps in the browser just never works right.

    Any suggestions?

Try looking in the Market for "my maps editor". I use it all the time and it works great for me.

By the way, its made by Google and uses the same maps you would have in a pc browser.

Post up if this works or not for you.

Kabbie's suggestion is really the best. My Maps Editor is awesome.

I will see I made a really nice map for a place I was visiting with all sort of stores, places to visit, eateries on the web, it was much easier that way, then I could just load it up while out and about.

It works well for simple gps type saved directions too.

yes this is exactly what i wanted. It is synchronized with the "My Maps" tab, all my lists loaded immediately. I just had to download the plugin for my phone. Thank you!

Try collaborating with a few people on a map. I did that and had their updates on my android phone while we were out...it was great.
