I've got an HTC Desire running Froyo 2.2

For some reason, Google Maps is not updating my location, and neither is Yelp when I try to check out places to eat near where I am.

If I'm on wifi (at home), it seems to work, but when I'm on 3G outside home, the location on the map never seems to change from my home location, with the result that Yelp also only shows me places near my home.

Anyone else have this issue? Anyone have suggestions on what I can do to fix it?

    Thanks!

    Thanks!

That's pretty weird though, most of the links you provided are from earlier in the summer, and I've only really noticed the issue with my phone in the last week or so. I'll try the A-GPS, don't really mind the data usage as I have a fairly decent plan.

Hmm maybe try a different GPS application too maybe hmm it might just be Google maps but i doubt it hmm take your favorite pick from here:

Maybe re-install the OS dude or do hard format maybe? Hmm

Might take a while to pick up your location? Dies it happen in a certain area or everywhere outside of your home? Not sure a hard reset is the answer btw
