Help Google Navigation issues

I've been playing around with Google Navigation, and it appears that it may cause my phone to lock up on occasion, causing me to remove the battery in order to restart the phone. Has anyone else notice this? I can't reproduce it consistently though.

Also, anyone ever get it to show the navigation without setting a destination? This thread has some advice, but I'm wondering if anyone else has better ideas.

Also, can I assume that there is no dock mode for the Moment?

1- Google nav has never locked or fc'd on me. Are you running anything in the background that might interfere with it?

2- Never tried to do that. If you find an answer, please post it up!

3- You assume correctly.
