    Dear all,
I'm using smartphone lenovo A366t and I have
setup an email account on the device. The email
    client seems working just fine.

Now the problem is: everytime I'm opening google play,
    It always display this message:

"You must add an account to the device to continue.
Do you want to add one now?"

Everytime I click the Yes button, the google play app just shutdown/quit itself.

Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Asking for an account seems reasonable, if you've not set one up. Sounds like the play store app is borked.

Go into the manage applications menu, select the play store app and clear data for the app. Won't affect anything else, but there's a chance it will fix this.

When you say you set up an email do you mean you added an account through accounts & sync? or the email client?

Hadron is right though, you should clear the cache and data.

    Dear Hadron and MacFett,

Thank you very much for your help.
I will try to clear the cache and data according to your suggestion at home,
as I'm not bringing the device at work.
@MacFett: Yes, by set up email I meant adding account thru "accounts n sync"

Btw I've just found out in google play store's "unsupported android device list" stating that lenovo a366t is not supported.
    Is there any workaround?

Rooting and editing the build.prop to a similarly stated but supported device should work.

Ahem. The other replies weren't useful at all -- some are probably harmful.

The deal is, some versions of Google Play have the bug that the reporter described.

If you have installed a new ROM, you may need to update the google apps package for that.
    Search for "".
Carefully download the appropriate package, and flash it, using, say the recovery tool.
Newer versions properly allow you to enter account info.

Furthermore, if you have enabled application-specific passwords in your Google account,
the gmail account won't work. Instead, go to your Google account page, under
-> Authorizing applications and sites [Edit]
Make a new password for this device, and enter that into the dialog.
