I've read somewhere that Google is now selling Google Play gift cards at major distributions centers such as Walmart. I have been unable to find them. Has anyone else seen these anywhere?

I haven't seen them anywhere... maybe they mean prepaid debit cards? Like the Visa cards you can buy at Walmart and the like?

I don't think they make such a thing I looked for them at store's before and didn't see them. But they should make them. They would probably sell really well. You could use them to buy anything in the play store from Books to Music, Videos and Apps.

I finally found the post again and I was mistaken. They might be coming out with Google Play gift cards. They should. They would reach so many more customers who don't have a credit or debit card. Sure a customer could by a prepaid card, but that is not targeted just to Google Play.

well what i did back in December when i bought my first Droid was get myself a prepaid debit card with $25.00 on it and just use that for the sole purpose of purchasing apps and add more if i need this way if something goes a muck with Google's pay service my banking accounts are in no danger and i have no worries,i recommend you do the same:).I also have one for amazon account for my kindle books on the tablet i started that one with a $100.00.and just keep them tucked in my wallet along with all the other cards, any large purchases 100.00and up i go thru PayPal.
