I am entertaining the idea of an Android smartphone. I use Google Voice for a throw-away line, and had a question...
As I understand it, if I set up my Google Voice number as a Friends & Family (or other carrier equivalent), I can call that number and then call out to whomever and it will not be counted against my minutes...
... But what about using the Google Voice App? If I have set up my Google Voice number as a Friends & Family member, will using the Google Voice App still be considered a "free" call? Or does using the Google Voice App count differently?
If you have experience with this, please state how it works and what carrier/plan you're on.
Thanks!
