With the latest update to Google Voice my phone constantly keeps opening 2 services that will run until I close them. They are WidgetService & UpdateService. Is there anyway to keep these these services from running? I don't have Google Voice set to sync with anything, nor do I have a widget enabled for it. Just seems kind of pointless for these 2 services to keep running when I maybe only use the app twice a week. Thanks for any help.

Google voice runs services in the background to check your voice mail. If the services didn't run, you'd never know if you got new voice mail.

The thing that bothers me is that these services didn't run in previous versions of the app. It's just recently that it's started. I can understand the UpdateService, but why the WidgetService when I have no widgets activated?
