I know there are a few apps that mention this, but none are specific, and none give a definitive answer.

I have a droid, and google voice. I have setup my 5th number as xxx-xxx-xxxx, and tmobile as the name. If I go into GV settings and select :use google voice for all of my calls", does that mean that they will all be free since they are using the GV# for both in and out calls?

Thanks in advance for your help!

    Maybe!

The format is 1(xxx)xxx-xxxx for dialing.

Leave out the 1 in front of the area code and it will not use GV.

Also, there's a little graphic at the bottom when you call that says google voice when it's really using google voice.

I have my GV # as one of my 5, and it's accepted, so yay for tons of free calls :)

So my google voice number need to be 1-xxx-xxx-xxxx in my verizon friends setting, or every number that I call with google voice needs to be in that format?

I have the widget that toggles goole voice, and I want to set it to use GV all the time, so that all of my calls will be free.

    Thanks

Just every number that you call, not the VZ setup. A lot of people don't realize the format, and when it doesn't work, they are like WTF?????

Do I need to use the brackets ( ) or just 1-333-333-3333 ?

Also, I do need to still have my GV number as one of my 5? And do incoming calls from GV count as free as well?

    Thanks

    GV # as a 5.

You can also do 15555555555, it just has to be that many digits.

Verify when you call, you'll see the google voice icon below when you hit send/call.
