I'm very disappointed in the Google+ app. I have an iPad 2 and the interface for the iPhone/iPad is much nicer than for my Galaxy Nexus. Anyone else feel frustrated with this?

It's known that Google recently released a much better version of G+ for the iphone/ipad before releasing it to Android. Didn't exactly make many of us happy.

It's known to me now. Very frustrating. You would think that Google would take care of their own. Everyone seems to give iDevices and the Apps store the best first, you could hope that Google, Android's daddy could think of us first.

Worth The Wait On Android

It’s interesting that Google did not launch the updated Google+ app UI for Android first, its own mobile OS. Instead, it chose to target iOS users first – iPhone users mainly, as the app does not have a dedicated iPad interface.

Vic Gundotra was very vague over when Android users should expect to get the refined Google+ app UI – “the Android update is coming in a few weeks,” he said. But the wait might be worth it, he hinted, saying the Android version will have “a few extra surprises.”

Looks like I complained a day early. Google+ has been updated for Android.

I like it, solid looking app and smooth. one of the best looking apps I think.

I forcefully tried to use G+ instead of Twitter for one full week.

I use Twitter for social interaction, but news as well. G+ failed for me.
Sorry to bring it off topic, just something that came up in my mind.


OH! But I use G+ for photography, and it gets A+++ from me. It destroys Flickr.

I truly like the upgrade. I think it's the smoothest social networking app I've seen.
