I figured you guys might be having the same problem(or not), but it might help me figure something out.

I have noticed the past couple months that there are areas in my community where my ally doesn't have a good signal where my old blackberry used to have a strong cell signal. Now, i'm pretty sure Verizon hasn't made any major changes to the network in the last couple of months, so there has to be some explanation.

Is the cell radio on the ally just inferior because it's an "entry-level" android?

Anyone else noticed diminished reception since switching to an ally?

This happens to me with my ally and my girlfriends bb storm. In some places (mostly resturnats) I'll have one-two bars while she will have three to four. Now at our apartment and her mom's house my ally has full signal.

My signal is stronger on my Ally than my old phone, that being said, my old phone was like a 4 year old lg scoop from Alltel.
