I navigated to a party yesterday. Worked just fine! Used Google Navigation.

Used Google Navigation on my 30 minute drive home from work this evening, no issues whatsoever. Just as accurate as my Garmin.

I am having terrible problems. I can't get the GPS to lock closer than 50 meters which is bad. When using the GPS it is innacurate and jumpy. I've never had a phone with GPS this bad. I tried a fix from xda with settings and it helped pick up the GPS but navigation isn't good and the accuracy is bad.

That's trouble. Take it back to AT&T for an exchange.

The GPS works fine on my new machine, even without adding the Cell towers. Locks on to some satellites inside the house even. Had a lock on all the way home from work in Google Maps. Even showed me going around our office building, so I can't complain.

I'm on the same boat as you. However I seemed to notice that it was very jumpy and inaccurate when I was at a stoplight. but once I was moving then it was okay. I hope its just a software problem so Samsung can release an update to fix this. I really don't want to take it back and find that it has the same problem again.

My GPS is also awful, even after applying any and all suggested changes to settings. Takes minutes to lock inside next to windows, and is horribly slow and inaccurate everywhere else. My old iphone 3G puts it to shame.
