I know there is an app like this for the iphone but have yet to find one on Android.

Basically I am looking for am app that adjusts the volume of your phone based on how fast you are going. Similar to newer car stereos that go up and down based on your speed.

    Anybody know of one?

GPSVolume, free from the Market. Just found it, haven't tried it at speed yet.

I have this feature on the radio in my 2000 Chevy convertible, and in my Mio C520 GPS. Nice not to have the thing yelling at you when you have stopped at the lights after having been on the freeway.

    It's .99, I think I can afford that.
