Does anyone know how long your led light notification blinks for missed calls and text messages etc.I thought is was to blink until you checked the missed call or message.Mine is going off after 5 to 8 minutes without going into the phone and checking the missed call or text.Is this normal?

    What phone do you have?

On the HTC Incredible, it is normal.

I have this prob on my HD.

It's quite annoying, as I look at the phone and no flashing green LED. Then I get the phone of screensaver and there are unread texts in the inbox.

Hello and welcome to Android Forums, so33bama.

Those blinking notifications can be different from one Android OS to another (2.1, 2.2, 1.6, etc) and device to device.

I'd advise using NoLed, an app from Android Market, free, which can be configured to have SMS, email, phone, etc icons appear on your sleeping screen for as long as you wish.

At least I haven't seen a "breathing" light on the 2 Samsungs. Nokia had it on the C6 and other phones. It used to fade in and out all the time. I think it was for those who use the phone as a clock at night. Whatever the use, it was a pain and you really had to hunt to figure out how to turn it off.
