Forgive me if this has been answered. I hunted here, on Verizon's site, and on Motorola's site and still can't figure it out. This phone has sometimes been marketed as a "world phone" and the specs do seem to indicate that it supports GSM 850/900/1800/1900 -- whatever that means. But how would a layperson take advantage of that? For instance, if I went to Europe, could I just buy a GSM micro SIM card, pop it in the slot, and enjoy local phone coverage? As you can probably tell, I've never traveled overseas with a cell phone, so this is all black arts to me. Thanks for any guidance or links to educational sources!
