Noticed the last time I posted I didn't know how to root my dinc. Today I wasn't to learn how to compile an aosp kernel for my dinc. Fires anyone know a guide specifically for compiling the dinc aosp kernel? I also need to know what ubuntu bryson to get and how to install/set up the environment for building a custom kernel. Over clicking and under volting are the too must important things I want in this kernel along with wifi. Someone please help as I'm still noobish

I saw someone else post a similar thread here and at xda forums and no one had a guide to link them too. I'd suggest doing a few google searches or I'd check out this thread, the developer of this kernel seems pretty helpful and offered his help to anyone in one of his posts.

A good Christmas present would be a simplified guide on building a droid incredible kernel from source code!

As I said before your best bet is to message one of the kernel developers and ask for help, and I believe google has information on their development site on how to compile one. pretty sure kernel development is too involved to have a simple guide on it. Same reason there is no simple guide on how to build a rom. Have to learn on your own with help from other developers.

Bah Humbug!! I hate figuring stuff out on my own. Guess you're right though. Gonna have to teach my self, except I'm not a good teacher and definately not a good pupil.
