GV over wifi

My GV does not send sms messages over wifi. Although I am not certain, I am pretty sure it did this on my Eris. Any suggestions/people who can prove or disprove this? If you can disprove me, what relevant settings do you have set?

My phones sends them fine via wifi.

Do you get an error or just the standard cant send sms?

There are not any settings in google voice that should effect this.
