Help Halp!

so my incredible recently started shitting out on me. it will restart itself randomly and go to the white "htc incredible" screen then just go black, vibrate 5 times, then start flashing the green LED. whats wrong with it and how do i fix it

edit: and it has a message saying "the process android.process.acore has stopped unexpectedly. please try again

Hopefully somebody here can give you some quality advice. When a phone starts behaving like that I'd say it was time for a factory reset. If after that it continues, then it might point to a hardware failure.

here are the steps i went through after this started happening...

1. turned off phone
2. help down volume and power until menu came up
3. selected "clear storage"

but sounds like the battery pins may not be keeping contact with the phone contacts, hence the rebooting. It could also be a corrupted sd card. You might want to try starting the phone in "safe mode" without the sd card in.
