Hardware Version?

I'm on my second Eris, this time around I notice that the trackball seems to be more gritty, and much more responsive. I'm not sure about the first one, but this one is listed as "Hardware Version 2" (Settings -> About -> Hardware Version).

I'm curious if anyone has a hardware version greater than 2?

yeah I think everyone's is 2. could be they just used dif trackballs in some considering how many are made.
