I have found my new favorite app. It is called World Tour and it is a background app that takes stills of web cams all around the world from penguins in Antarctica, Eiffel Tower, Ground Zero, even from space it shows shots of the sun and the Earth. It updates every 30 minutes and you can customize it to randomly pick a web cam from it's database. Picture quality is pretty impressive considering it comes from webcams and best of all it's free! Long live Droid!

    Battery impact?

Can you change the update interval?

I have not seen any decrease in battery life whatsoever and you can customize udate frequency options:

    10 minutes (worst battery setting)

    20 minutes

    30 minutes (recommend by dev)

    1 hour (best battery setting)

you can also push a refresh of selected webcam if the still they send you is a little fuzzy.

I've really enjoyed this app so far.

    Very interesting.

I'd like to see some way to push an update without having to go into the app. Maybe like a double trap somewhere on the screen.
