Help Having Internet (Browser ) problems

So yesterday i could go on the browser look up sites and what-have-ya. i wake up this morning and now i cant access anything on the browser??? i put in an address and comes up data connection problem.

Downloaded opera mini and i CAN access any pages.

Has there been a setting changed i am not aware of???

just downloaded Android 2.2 on my AT&T Samsung Captivate. On the browser, it never goes to the homepage unless I turn the phone off and then on. Killing the app doesn't work either; if I kill the browser and then go on it again, it simply goes to the last web page that I had displayed. If I turn the phone off and then on, the browser will go to my designated home page.
This was never a problem with Android 2.1.
Why is that?

Clear the browser cache and history and try it again.

To open the home page you have to close open tabs. The browser always open last pages viewed.
Go to Menu,Windows and hit the X.

i tried clearing cache but still i can go to android market facebook and any other app but the browser doesnt work.......neither does dolphine or skyfire.....please help
