hdmi for gallery pictures?

i can't seem to use my hdmi out for anything but videos and youtube
is it possible to do a slidshow of your pics also?

what else can you do with the hdmi out?

It used to work for gallery pictures before the 2.2 update. I'm surprised nothing has been done to get it working again. That's a big dissappointment.

yea nothing really looks good on it but youtube hd videos. kinda felt like i wasted my money with getting an hdmi cord : (

Add me to the list. Videos work fine but no pictures, even using slideshow. Pretty irritating.

Nope. Not until HTC gives the HDMI out port just straight up screen copy capability like it was showcased via some guy on the Droid X. We can hope and wish though... it (kind of) got the framerate cap issue noticed, with enough bitching at HTC through emails and flooding their site with threads about it...

I purchased the HDMI cable that Sprint has available for the EVO, Photos in a slideshow, videos and Youtube works for me.
