Welcome! If you're looking for something cheap to fiddle around with I would try getting a G1/Dream on eBay... but there isn't any inherently cheap android device available at the moment.

I see some fair deals on ebay for G2 Dream.

Did any of you guys tried using it ? They seem to be chinese brand.

Do I need to unlock it to use it ?
Do I need a SIM card to use it?
Can I enable multi-touch in it ?

This area is for introductions... you should probably be asking this elsewhere on the forums or even in the chat room (See the small blue nav bar above).

That being said I WOULD NOT get any Chinese knockoffs. What you want to get will depend on your needs/purposes and what carrier have if you are planning on using the phone connection. Consumer or developer purposes? That type of thing.
