Hi,

My name's Nathan. I've been browsing here for about 2 weeks on and off because I have an update coming soon (this thursday to be exact) and I didn't know which phone to get. I was originally getting the droid, just because it has better specs. But, my plan was faulted quickly after the decision. The Droid would still cost me $100 even after the "New every 2" deal. So I started looking into the Eris (since it would be free with the "New every 2" deal) and even played with it in the store. I'm in love (lol)! I CANNOT wait to get this thing in the mail next week!!! It looks like such an awesome phone!

My only disappointment with this phone is it not being 2.0/2.1...BUT I just read on Engadget that the Droid officially got 2.1. So i'm GUESSING we are too, soon...hopefully. I'm assuming not this week though because of the "Update" Leaked documentation indicates we'll see this start to get rolled out in batches of 250,000 at a time starting on Thursday -- not too long of a wait (unless you're in the very last batch, that is)."...i think that means this is the Droid's week...ours next week???

Anyway, this forum really inspired me to get the Droid Eris and I'm so pumped! Thanks guys! Just hope that rumor about the Incredible overtaking isn't true, even though I don't really care lol.
