I switched to an android and started with the Droid Turbo. I was in love until I dropped it in water. I've nursed it and it now powers on. I'm hoping to get some advice on getting this back to working condition or at least able to get my pictures out to swap to a new android. I'm excited to learn more about androids in general! Thank you!

Welcome to our AndroidForums, Kathy! :)

The drier and cleaner you can get your device, the better...

There still might be micro particulates left behind that will likely ultimately cause a shorter lifespan. But, that being said, I've got a Nexus 5 that got pretty wet and still works--although the battery still does not hold a charge like it original did.

Best of luck and welcome again to AF!
