Help! Data Call Failure - Error Code 130Support

    My Evo has no data connection all of a sudden and pops up with an error that says, "Data Call Failure Error Code 130. Network error. Sign in failed. Please wait a moment and try again, you may need to contact Sprint."

    What the hell? I didn't do anything weird to my phone or anything to have this happen all of a sudden. I've tried doing a battery pull several times and tried updating my profile, but nothing seems to work. Anyone have any suggestions? Anyone else experiencing such an error?

    I'm getting the same message here in orange county costa mesa...
    Had to flip on wifis... Figured I'd check here first..
    Really sucks stuck at work til 5 and can only get wifi in the street..

    Ps. 4g doesnt work..
    So far tried turn data off 4g off restart phone and battery pull didn't fix..
    Going to try and call sprint

    I tried calling, but they're closed. Glad to know I'm not the only one receiving the error, though. I was in the middle of watching Sprint TV on 4G when it froze...I restarted the phone and when it rebooted, I got the error. Strange, isn't it? Well, at least it's a network problem and not a device problem, ya know?

    I'm not sure if its just timing or what - but I did a update profile and Im good now

    Damn it I tried every option trying to get someone on phone they closed till 6 am central time

    It sucks cause I can barely use phone that stupid message pops up every 30 seconds.. I wonder if I can still talk on phone...

    My friend in L.A. got it to work for a second but then he restarted his phone and it happened again! :eek:

    Yeah, you can still talk. It's just the damn data that's not working properly.

    Update profile worked.. had to do it twice.. First time it fixed it for a few seconds then went away ran it again and so far so good (5 minutes with connection) hoping it stays connected.

    Thank god for android forums and a quick fix... By the android forums tech team.. Lol

    I didn't update anything, just turn 3g back on and it works now

    I got the 130 error also. I fixed it by toggling Mobile Network off then back on. So far, so good.
