Root Help getting ra!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I Read and saw that i would need to use RA to be able to change the lock screen on Fresh Rom. I used Rom Manager, I hit "Flash Alternative Recovery (RA RECOVERY V17.0.1)" Now under "Flash ClockworkMod Recovery" Its says Current recovery: RA Recovery v1.7.0.1 and Latest Recovery ClockworkMod 2.5.01. So i went to fresh updater to change lock screen. Phone rebooted AND AGAIN I GET THE TRIANGLE WITH THE EXCLAMATION MARK IN IT......CAN SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP......IVE DONE EVERYTHING IVE READ AND STILL NO LUCK
