I have two questions about my htc Droid Eris.

#1. Is there a way to make capitals that are not at the beginning of sentences, for proper names, etc.?

#2. Is there an easier way to save text messages? I know I can e-mail them to myself, or copy and paste them into Evernote, but this takes forever if I have a lot of them to save. Is there a way to quickly copy an entire thread?

    Thanks for any advice.

There is an app called SMS backup. It will save all your text messages to your gmail.
