Hey guys, i'm creating an app that allows parents to monitor their childrens activities on the android and it's going steady except i can't figure out a way to hide the application.

There will be no need to access the app on their childs android again because once it's downloaded the parent can manage the app from their online account.

My only idea is some type of if statement that would delete the app icon and app label when the app install = successful. But i don't really know how this could be done, if it can be done.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
    :D

It is a service, but it runs this app to collect data.

Try going into the manifest and clearing the Label and Icon values.

You can't submit to the android app market without an icon though
