Help HELP! "Network Failure"

My phone sends me a text message from "unable to send message. Retrying..." that says "generic network failure" when I send a text message or even try to start typing one... It started when I tried sending a picture and now it is really screwing up and I have NO idea what to do I don't really want to reset my phone but I'm afraid I'm going to have to. Also I have not had any internet access all day I don't understand this I have tried updating everything.. profile, firmware everything it doesn't work... HELP!

Have you tried rebooting your Sprint HTC Hero? Have you tried toggling your mobile data on and off?

It sounds like your data connection is just screwed up and that is why you cannot send a picture or access the Internet. If the above two things do not work, you can also try pulling your battery and putting it back in and seeing if that helps.
