    Hello everyone,

I am new to rooting and used the z4root program to root my Droid. Everything has been working wonderful until now. I downloaded a program called "green power premium". This program is supposed to manage your 3g network by turning it on and off to save battery.

My phone now is no longer getting data from any source! Its almost as if I am on a phone call and can't revive data or browse the web. Does anyone know if there are drivers or something I can re install to fix this issue.

    Thank You!

    Eric

I would suggest just taking that app off of your phone...

You know, this makes me feel a little better, cause I seem to be having the same problem. Data was working fine a few hours ago.

I do not have the app mentioned in the OP installed on my phone.

To troubleshoot thus far I have done a *228 and a nandroid restore with no effect.

Have not made any other changes to the phone and am on the stock baseband.

I am on the Charity 11 ROM with slayhers 1200 kernel. Other than anything related to data, the phone seems to be working fine and I seem to still be able to make calls. The 3g signal will show that I am transmitting but never show I am receiving.

In case this is a regional thing, I am in North Carolina.

I have tried removing the app and that doesn't help. Also I'm in California so I don't believe its a regional problem.

On a side note. One of the reviews for the app said "This totally messed up my mms settings. After deleting greenpower info from apns file had to completely restore apn xml. Be careful"

Does anyone know how to do this?
    Thanks
