    Hi,

I have a 4fb SD card fitted yet I keep getting a message saying I'm running low on phone storage space. Can I manage this on the SD card?

    Many thanks,

    Carl.

The phone storage space is your phone's internal memory. Unfortunately the Desire doesn't have a lot of internal storage space, so your message is uncommon.

Clear the cache from all of your apps, and once you have downloaded FroYo, you can move some of your apps to your SD card - well, those which support this feature.

Sorry it has taken me so long to come back and than you for your response - thank you!

Just a quick question - what is froyo? Can't find it in the market. Too of the list is advanced task killer. Is this what you mean?

    Many thanks,

    No problem.

FroYo is the latest update to the operating system.

You don't get it from the market. To see if it's available, go to Settings > About Phone > System Software Updates

It will then tell you if you can download the latest update. :)
