Do you have access to a health care professional (doctor, out patient clinic, emergency room, etc)?

I don't think you should hesitate.. go for real help with that.

Go to the doctor. Metallic tastes are not good. It generally indicates something is very wrong. Don't hesitate.

    This.

Get to the doctor or hospital if you are TRULY concerned. You would not have asked if you weren't worried about it.

This seems to rule out almost anything good... italian, greek, and middle eastern dishes for sure. If you have the resources, you might want to look into it. If you're suicidal, you could experiment yourself while keeping a bottle of Benadryl handy.

I feel badly for you but I am glad that this isn't the last we've heard of you!

How the hell does that happen.. I understand growing a tolerance to something.. I was lactose intolerance when I was a kid.. but grew out of it. How to you all of a sudden develop an allergy to something you have always been fine with.. Nature is crazy...

You sure you were allergic to the garlic and not the mold on the bread? And just because the bread isn't expired doesn't mean it can't get moldy.

Pretty easily, actually. You always have an intolerance to the thing, and every time you get exposed to it, your reaction gets a little stronger, until eventually you have a full-fledged allergy.

Why do people come on to forums asking medical advice?

Dont get me wrong as I think its great and it always happens on forums with a community feel to them, on a kite forum I use a lad come on asking what he should do after his parents went away and he had a house party and the ceiling came down :D

As the others have said "Get to the doctors/hospital" :)

Well, we're just that awesome. The other day I helped that one guy who was bleeding from his ears. I told him to plug it with earbuds and use Pandora to listen to the healing power of Marvin Gaye. It must have worked because he hasn't been back!
